Arrivals in 2004?

Post by elbogo »

So anyone getting their new set of pipes in 2004, and how long has the wait been?

I expect my Kirk Lynch 1/2 set to be finished sometime this summer, and can't wait. (!!!)

I'm waiting for my Childress full set to arrive sometime in 2004. It's been a while since I enquired about their status and I don't know when they'll be ready. I'm keeping plenty busy with the old pipes in the meantime, so the waiting hasn't been hard.

I will be receiving my Gallagher drones next month to complete my half set. I have been waiting since last summer and the wait will be worth it I am sure. Originally it would have been about another year but Seth shortened his wait times.

I'm supposed to be getting a half set in D by Joe Kennedy as well, but I've only been waiting a year.... man I hope it won't end up taking 2.5 years.... I'd have to cry like a little girl or something to get him to go faster :D. Actually he says that they should be ready by February. I can either go get the set or go the Chris Langan Weekend. The set wins.

My C set morphs from 1/2 set to 3/4 set (courtesy of Bruce Childress) sometime around May. I've explained to the wife that after this, I have no further territorial demands

My regulators to complete my Brian Howard set should be ready by the summer. These are the completely redesigned regs Brian has been working on for ages, complete with new keywork. After the modifications to what Brian calls 'the perturbations' on the D chanter and the drones on my half set ( an accoustic tour de force!) I can't wait.If I can work out how to post pictures I'll put some on so you can all see.
