Oh Grannymouse.. I will most definitely be praying for you... A good friend of mine just beat thyroid cancer. You will beat this, too... Please take care of yourself, and know that others care...

Grannymouse, not wanting to go against your wishes that this not become a long thread, but I want to add my amen with those who are praying for you, as you walk through the valley, that He is with you.

Dear Betty!
I don’t pray much, but I most certainly will for you.

I’ll do my best to cheer you up in a time like this, as a positive
attitude is an underestimated source for recovery.
I also remember your willingness to share my joy when
my three children were borne. I’ll always be grateful for that.
Ika is now a young lady of 4, and she still likes to play the
CD you sent her.

All the best to you Betty and to your family.
I know you will beat this!

My heartfelt thanks to you all for your prayers and words of encouragement..........both on this forum and the Praise Whistlers plus private emails and msgs I,ve received. What a comfort. I've started a "Healing" folder and will save all these wonderful words so that I may refer to them often. It will be a couple weeks before I know the full scope of things but I will keep you posted. Bless you all. Betty

UPDATE-- I had an IM from Grannymoust this AM. She just got back from the hospital where she had a mastectomy and some 20 nodes removed. Half were affected, but she's focusing on the half that were clean. Granny is feeling strong, healthy and in very good spirits. She asked me to update y'all, so there it be. She's a tough lady, and I think she's gonna be just fine.
