So whats the diffrance between a Bloomfield and a walden, I have a stefpat and it has a problem with the second octave should I get rid of it and get a weekender, or maybe a low downZubivka.
The Dale is way cool but I think the rich is abit suspect.

Although all generally have a fine tone, there is an occasional tendency to squawk and require a lot of air.CHIFF FIPPLE wrote:So whats the diffrance between a Bloomfield and a walden, I have a stefpat and it has a problem with the second octave should I get rid of it and get a weekender, or maybe a low downZubivka.

Yes I agree, but is it the Bloom Buster that has the most back pressure, and has the clogging problem on the weekender been fixedRando7 wrote:

Don't say--you might end up blowing a Zoobraphoon before you know...jim_mc wrote:only a Frooonchman would play a Zube Tube.
For the time being, Zoob's much into world moosic. Let's see:
Low C -- Scottish. Big bore but big fun.
Low D -- Breton
Low Eb -- English
Low F -- Australian. Native American, too. My indigenous tone?
Low G -- Breton. This makes two so far. Hmm, does this make me chauvinistic?
Bb -- on its way from America.
C -- Japanese sorta peppermill, plastic, with lotsa extra holes. Came with a nice plastic case and soft cleaning brush, that sold it. One € at a garage sale. Would I spend more on high C? Call it my Xen-on paradox.
D -- Scottish, English, English though 'merkin tweaked. Hmm, two more; with the (modest) Triumph tee-bird I guess it's at least three evidences for being, what? Knnnigggetophile? Anglophiliac?

I've heard that TelegramSam is pretty squawky if handled incorrectly...
