- Tell us something.: Just updating my profile after 16+ years of C&F membership. Sold most of my flutes, play the ones I still own and occasionally still enjoy coming here and read about flute related subjects.

Wow the flood of interest this thread is generating. Some of the other threads can't hold a candle to this one.
I hope that posting off topic threads doesn't put anyone on the spot for discipline.
I am glad that there are so many luminous personalities here at Chiff & Fipple to make such interesting posts possible.

- Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

- Tell us something.: You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free - Location: Loren has left the building.
Albany has been great, except for that one heckler....I think Porridge was his name....
Anyway, hope to see some of you at the Nashville gig.
Jessie, swing by the Will Call window at Rusty's on opening night...There will be an "All Access" backstage pass waiting for you. Try not to get into any trouble with it though, I have my reputation to think of you know.....

I don't believe all these posts, a thousand or so viewers and not a single NEON owner. Bright, flexible, excellent range of available colors?
Did I miss some warning, do they have support problems or something? I don't own one now, but have seen an occasional showing of neon down at the pub. That one does have a kinda low octave buzz to it. Hey Loren, do you think that would match the bold character of our good old 'cosmic drainpipe'?

Personally, I keep a handful of cheapie flashlights around, on in the dash of my car, one on a key ring. Makes it easy to play with them when I'm waiting around for an appointment. Their portability can't be beat, and they're a lot more easy to focus than the standard models.

I think Andrea Corr uses a Little BlackLight, but I imagine it's not out-of-the-box. Would that make it lightweaked?
What do most of you use as your "car bulb" when sitting at stoplights?
Also, if PhilO complains again about bad movies is that a "Philament"?
These are things that make me go, "Hmmmmm".

The best thing about Highland Pipes is that the players can't sing at you.
