Jessie and Dan, Yay!!!! Congratulations to both of you. I am so happy for you. A life together is a thousand times better than a life alone. Today you became a family!

It was amazing. My parents did such a great job, as did my good friend Terry. Dan and I are beyond exhausted...there's nothing like the first marital SLEEP! Still tired, though. But it was great. We had about 300 people in my parents' back yard. We were/are so happy. There was humor and there was love and man, my feet hurt from standing for so long, talking to people! I'll post a picture when we have one.

I don't really know much of your story, having joined the board rather late but even I can say that you look so much happier now than on your avatar that it almost seems like a different person
All the best to you and the handsome guy holding the camera (who hopefully noticed that your eyes perfectly match the mountains in the background... ah, I'm getting romantic).
Where exactly was that picture taken?
Enjoy your life together -

Hi all,
I haven't posted here in quite a while, but I had to write something after my whirlwind trip to beautiful upstate New York to take part in Jessie and Dan's wedding. It was a picture-perfect day with two wonderful families and lots of friends coming together for quite a special occasion. Jessie and Dan are obviously very much in love and each seems richer and happier for the other.
I don't think Dan plays the whistle (yet), but he plays a really mean piano and is a good singer to boot. Jessie's still got the upper hand in the singing department, as she belted out one of her signature numbers, Etta James' "At Last." Both dads performed very nicely at the reception as well. I'm a little jealous of that much musical talent in one family!
It was a joy and a privilege to be part of a really special day.
PhilO - Thanks for the mention. You're a very gracious man, and I'm happy you are still enjoying the whistles I sent your way. I'm sure their potential is being fulfilled much more with you than it was when they were with me.
