But...come to think of it....I've sent about 5 PMs lately and got no responses, so I think I might be the one being disturbed here.

Well I didn't get any PMs. So now I am disturbed. But not much.
I'm no longer trying a new posting paradigm

Here's a quote attributed to Freud, I found in a J. Peterman catalog:

"One should not try to eliminate one's complexes. Rather, one should endeavor to come into accord with them. They are legitimately what motivates one's actions in the world."

Best wishes,
Jerry

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

Hey! Did somebody hear a noise?
I didn't hear anything, I heard nothing though.

I may be somewhat disturbed but I do not think it silly or compulsive to triple check or even quadruple check to make sure I turned off all of the lights and appliances when I leave.

Sometimes I get half way to work and turn around, go home and just make sure. And last night I just could not get to sleep until I had gotten up and octuple checked the smoke alarms.

A person cannot be too careful. Nothing mentally deranged about that.
Is "gonna" a word?
As in, "I ain't gonna git a leg wax."

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Drat, I'm only 16% insane. How boring! And I was *so* looking forward to getting a white waistcoat with wraparound arms . . .

"The percentage of your brain that's insane is 10. We're pretty sure that you're either incredibly well balanced or you lied on the test."

I'll never tell.

The truth is, I go through a lot of emotional ups and downs. Other people going through some of the same stuff would handle it differently, probably better. But even so, I'm pretty sane. I've been in a couple of psychological studies, and after they were unblinded, the researchers commented to that effect.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Dang, I am normal. 28%.

There was one question about invisible friends. I was disappointed that they did not ask me if I was invisible. I am you know.

46 percent insane - "a little weird, but great fun at parties," apparently.

So that is all right then.
