AWAY FOR AWHILE

Post by pthouron »

Don't be surprised if those political OTs drop way down next week: I'll be away on vacation with no access to computers :D ... Yearly family reunion in beautiful Punderson, Ohio. I am excited about it because it is the first year I'll be bringing whistles. My brother-in-law and I have always played music, but until now he played fiddle and I played guitar. But this year I've picked up the whistle. :)
Now, how do I play both at the same time is the question :boggle:
Of course, I could ask my son to play the guitar while I handle the whistle, but I'm not sure how Ozzy and Metallica sound with whistle and fiddle. :o
Ah, bugger! We'll find a way. I'll be around tomorrow looking for some final good posts, and then it's off 'til the 13th.
You all be well.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Have a hoot Patrick. :)

You'd better take a few Megs along so you can do some proselyting.

Tell us something.: I've been with Chiff and Fipple since shortly after I bought my first low D. I've learned loads from this community, and I intend to continue to learn and contribute. Many thanks to Dale and everyone who makes this site happen.

I am sure that won't be a problem! :D The forecast calls for rain all week so aside from music and sampling the great products from the 'Great Lakes Brewery", I don't plan on doing much!...

Kathy, notice he's coming from NJ and going to OH. He's gonna pass right through our lovely state! I bet he goes through on I-80, though. Aren't you down in the south end of the state?

Well, enjoy. It's a lovely drive, just not close to me or, I believe, Kathy. Oh well! Guess you won't be stopping for a tune!
