Mini-Contest for Graphics Whizzes

Post by Dale »

I'm looking for a new graphic for the top of http://www.chiffandfipple.com/table2.html . As has become the tradition, I want a public figure grasping a whistle. Tony Blair's been done, Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld. But, that's the kind of thing I'm going for.

I'll select a winner. The graphic will run for weeks or months (until I tire of it) and the winning artist will get a special mention in the newsletter.

Submit your files here on this thread. If you need me to host your image so it will appear on this thread, email it to me.

Thanks

Dale

OK, so Fonzie isn't exactly a public figure these days.
Wasn't this photo practically begging to have a whistle added to it though? ;)

Well, I'm all for recycling, and I'm too busy to do anything new now, so here are two recent images I have posted. Sorry to those who saw these first time around.

The first isn't a photoshop, but is a genuine photo of a Goddess I caught playing whistle in Hawaii:

<img src="http://www.dreammask.com/images/goddess_w1.gif">

It could do with cropping and lightening up a bit, but she's cute.

Talking of cute, it seems that half of the middle-aged men on this board have the hots for Nigel Lawson, so to fuel their fantasies here he is with his whistle...

<img src="http://www.dreammask.com/images/lawson150.jpg">

Personally I don't see what you guys see in him.

Me, either.

I think somebody should do Pam Anderson (*drools*) running down the beach in slow motion, with a big pink Howard Low D in her hand, saying 'Oh, God I lost the batteries!'

Thanks for hosting my pic Dale :D

If anybody doesn't recognize him it is Albert Einstein and the whistle is a Silkstone.

That was fun, I haven't messed with that program for a couple of years so it was a challange to remember what tools did what.

Cheers,
Kathy :)

Edited for spelling corrections

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

All great, but the Einstein is truly a work of art! He looks like he's playing a slow air.
