chiffiest inexpensive whistle?
For those who need a little more chiff in their life (like me!) but don't have a lot of bread (also like me!).

surprising results
I expected the Generation to win hands down. I'm surprised to see the Clarke Original leading the poll. Although I've yet to play a Generation, I've played a few Clarke's and I don't consider them to be that chiffy.
Charles: I define chiff to be that reedy, slightly percussive sound that really distinguishes the sound of a whistle from a recorder or other similar instrument.
