Hi folks. Check out my cover of Ain't No Sunshine by Bill Withers. Nothing fancy just love playing my uke and low whistle and having fun.
Low whistle comes in at about 1:18. Thanks for watching.

That whole deal was really nice. I've been trying so hard to get up to new levels in trad whistle playing that it was only recently that I started trying to riff to Brubeck, Clapton, etc. A few truly inspired terrific moments accompanied by some really bad ideas so far; fun though. Thanks for posting.

Very nice!
It would be way cool to go all Roland Kirk on the low whistle!

Thanks folks. Yeah I just did a quick improv on the whistle. Probably should have done a few more takes to get it smoother, but it is what it is. The Roland Kirk video was cool.

One of my favorite songs! You described it as "nothing fancy," but it was perfect. More than the sum of its parts. Thanks so much for posting this!
My favorite cover of this song was by Eva Cassidy. Check it out on iTunes.

Thank you so much for your kind words Lost-in-North-Dakota. I listened to the Eva Cassidy version. Wow, it was awesome.

- Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.
