Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

Happy Birthday to Our Founder and Our Gracious Host!

How much information, how much fun, how much delight in these lovely wee instruments I have had over the years, and shared it all with such charming and erudite company.

Thank you Dale, for making this happen.

I'm away to have a blow at my Garvie low D now, and try to compose a 6/8 march in memory of the Crystal People.

I'm sure I speak for al C&Fers when I wish you many more long and happy years, Dale!

yours aye

Happy Birthday! This board has been essential in my music life, and we all appreciate what you have done, and what you do.

Tell us something.: Hi Nano. I was somewhat active on the Chiffboards maybe 5 or 6 years ago, participating in several whistle tours (Bracker, Hardy, Ellis). I took a break from the Chiffboards, and music mostly, for several years because I got a full-time job and had a baby. I'm easing back into the music, though (which is great, I missed it). It's good to be back!

Without Dale, I'd probably still be playing jigs and reels on that Norelco triple rotary head shaver.

 Happy birthday, sir.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Happy Birthday Dale! I can't imagine how much poorer my life would be without Chiff and Fipple.

Thanks for the lovely birthday wishes!

I'm touched there are people left on the board who actually know who I am!

Tell us something.: Just updating my profile after 16+ years of C&F membership. Sold most of my flutes, play the ones I still own and occasionally still enjoy coming here and read about flute related subjects.
