What's in a name?
You mean to tell me that there's no Fipplarium museum, no annual Gathering of the Chiff, no monumental statue of Dale Wisely, no Whistling Billy's Burgers ... HERE?:

OK, so they've spelled it slightly wrong. Judging by what I see here on the board, our members won't even notice.
C'mon, villagers, step up to your responsibility. Do you think that Thong (Kent) and Sandy Balls (Hampshire) are sitting on their respective assets? No, siree.

Well, its obvious that the people from BB need to meet the people from Interc, and meanwhile, the people from Dilly need to stop that.oleorezinator wrote:Then south of the border there's the ever popularwhistle1000 wrote:Oh, I have to take place in this...here's a few localities in Newfoundland .....Dildo which is just below Spread Eagle, Blow Me Down, Come By Chance, Leading Tickle, Pothead....that's just a few that I can remember.

Isn't that where they make the beer?
Traditionally this is the time where the village of Muff, Co Donegal gets a mention. And the clever souls who started the local sub aqua club.

Have you tried it, Mr. Gumby? Hell literally means "blond", so it's the blond lager from F. (actually brewed in a Black Forest brewery)Mr.Gumby wrote:Isn't that where they make the beer?

Re: What's in a name?
The United States had a large number of obscene place-names but these were changed by the US government when it began going throughout the country making official maps.
These unprintable names were changed on the spot to benign ones, at the mere whim of the cartographers, as I understand.
It's one of the reasons this country has so many dull and repetitive names (26 Manchesters, 37 Berlins, 21 Romes, 19 Viennas; towns named North East, Due West, etc).

There are two in Colorado
NoName and Dotsero.
The latter is how it looks on a map;
The former I cannot tap.
?
Dotsero from dot zero a surveyor's turning point
