It's Christmas time.

Post by rorybbellows »

Happy Christmas everybody, hope you have a good one. For those in the southern hemisphere dont get sun burnt and for those in the northern hemisphere, stay warm.
A big happy new year to all you pipers out there, my new years resolution is to be a better person, whatever that means. Just remember you are very special no matter how you look at it.

Tell us something.: If you flush your toilet 7 times whilst lilting "The Bucks of Oranmore", an apparition of one of the great pipers of old will appear in the mirror, you will be blessed with good reeds, but cursed with bad bags and bellows.

Thanks for your well-wishes!

BTW I'm in the Northern Hemisphere but Christmas will be warm and sunny (the joys of Southern California weather).

Unfortunately I was (And still am, a bit) sick with the seasonal flu. Sure affected my playing!

Hopefully I feel better before Christmas!

PS kinda difficult to go a-caroling with the uilleann pipes... just sayin'

Bright and warm and sunny today; an Aloha shirt, shorts, and zorries will be my Christmas Day attire.

I'm out playing my uilleann pipe more in the weeks leading up to Christmas each year than at any other time due to so many churches performing Season Of Joy which has uilleann parts in the score. Long may it continue!
