This Alba Q1 High D whistle is a quiet whistle made exclusively for Big Whistle in the UK. You will not see them on the Alba web site. Besides being beautifully constructed from spun aluminum with a polyester resin fipple plug, it is unique in that it features a significant amount of back pressure. No delicate breath for this whistle, unlike every other quiet whistle I have owned.
New these sell for just under $114 USD plus shipping from the UK. They are currently out of stock anyway. This one is in "as new" condition for $100 USD (PayPal) including postage to Continental US or Canada.
I am playing flute pretty much exclusively so no point in keeping such a great whistle!
