Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

I agree.

But 'berry, I have to ask, now you are no longer in love with mr W. ...

Where to? I guess 12 hours at an average of 60 would place you 720 miles away.

Enquiring minds want to know!

I think I must be blonde. I might not understand that. But one time I almost went to Oregon on a whim. It was one of those 'Hey, I'll buy your plain ticket if you want to abandon everything and come and live with me and 15 of my friends tomorrow' moments. Everybody has those, right?

Yeah, trouble is I usually say yes. Thats why I'm 5000 miles from home (and loving it).

My calculation was just how far one could get if one drove all night...

If you love whistles so much, why are you always talking about flutes in chat?

Hold on there, Bloomy! I'm never talking flutes...that's always Eld and Stout. I'm as innocent as a declawed cat! (just don't mention fiddles, okay?)

I fully agree that whistles as we know them are the most beautiful instrument on the earth. I take that perspective because over the years I have become a Luddite, pursuing the philosophy of simplicity in everyday life.

Whistles offer that simplicity of design and use with what seems the expanding universe of possibilities as to what you can play on them.

Yes Energy I love whistles too!
