Re: Denny
I'm late here, but so sorry to hear about this. Denny will certainly be missed. My thoughts are with his wife and family.

Re: Denny
This is such sad news. I too had wondered at his absence lately but never dreamed it was due to something like this. There are a few folks that we meet- whether in the flesh or online- that enrich our lives. Denny was one of those- on these boards, many years ago, I struck up a friendship with Denny, through our love of music, learning and horses. Like others here, I too will miss him terribly.May his passing be easy and the next pastures be filled with joy.

Re: Denny
Denny was one of those wonderful individuals that make this board so much more than just a technical resource for whistles. I will certainly miss his humor and facinating astronomical posts (I'm still using one as desktop background on my computer, and I tend to cycle between several favorites). Wish I could have met the man in person.
My condolences to his loved ones

My thoughts are with Denny and his family during this transitional period... may his remaining time here be blessed with grace and ease, and may his family and friends find peace in the time following.

- Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

I'm so sorry to hear of this. But glad it was peaceful. I've been thinking of Denny a lot these last few days. I really will miss him. I liked his style, as well as his friendship. I wonder if I practiced some ... missed out a few words, posted on my phone whilst driving a horse-cart, that sort of thing ...emmline wrote:Facebook posting by Adena, his wife, tells us that he passed last night.
So long chap. Best wishes, Adena and family.

Re: Denny
Here is Adena's post, from Denny's Facebook page. I don't think she (or he) would mind.
Denny's wife posting for him --- After a 4 month battle with Pancreatic Cancer, Denny passed over to the over side last evening. He was surrounded by loved ones and peacefully made the transition. While he will be sorely missed, we all know that he will always be with us and take great comfort in that.
