Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

As do vendors in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
Whistler's Mother (a lady piper) had two stickers on her case: "UP" and "...got pipes?"
Ceann Cromtha wrote: CHasR wrote: i'd suggest something along the lines of those ovoid 'national' bumper stickers ("IE", "GB", "US" , "FR", "DE", "NL: , etc..) but ours would simply say "UP".
Great idea, but, apparently, the Salt Lake City Pipers' Club already thought of this one:

I've always been a great fan of the Ceol agus Rince stamp featuring Felix Doran. I'm not sure if the copyright resides with Peter Wildburn or An Post .

Uilleann pipers never die, they just drone on and on forever.
More power to your uilleann.

Some years ago they sold these "I love my bodhrán" - stickers on ebay. A good guarantee that your pipes don´t get stolen.

It does, unfortunately, come with the risk that a not-so-bright bodhránista will open the case ande use the chanter as a tipper.

Speaking of ducks, Pierre Laporte used to say to me (and it makes a fine bumper sticker):
Sort ton canard Patrique!
