Really enjoyed that Connaughtmans Rambles, Abraxas.
Had a sort of Seamus Egan vibe to it with your own nice crisp triple tonguing style.
Really made me miss the crispness of my old Lehart.
That was my first tune sixteen or so years ago and I've been reviositing it again latley after listening to Mikey Smyth playi it.
I'll post what Ive been doin to it lately when I have a chance.

I made this video yesterday to help keep these tunes in my mind, just learned recenty
Two early rags well the first tis a cake walk.

Glad you liked it, dunnp. I saw some of your vids. Good stuff! Love your tone.
I might go to Glasgow as an exchange student this fall. If I go we should definitely share some tunes.

Hello. I recorded a set of two reels. I like this set.

Dowd's No.9, The Colliers (reels)

I played my Copley Eb flute. I enjoy playing it very much!

Very nice playing, Borja! Do you have names for the tunes?

By the way. Are you making a new DRD album? I have listened a lot to your music, and hope you will make a new one soon.

Thank you Abraxas.
The tunes names:
Xirandiyes de Fresno (Igor Medio)
Saltón de la Granda (Elías Garcia)
Añada de Chanuces (Traditional/Marcos Llope)

About DRD, we have a couple of tunes ready but the new album is far from now. I hope we will work hard on winter.

New YT clip on my R&R #2130 with Bb foot (not using the foot keys in this instance!)

The tunes are a newly written one of my own - April Showers - plus a traditional Scottish one - Timour the Tartar (aka Peter Street).

The notation for these tunes (staff & ABC) can be downloaded as a Word.doc from: https://www.box.com/s/d2e5bc46ba5e29271a13

Any feedback, here or on YT, welcome.

Hi Folks. It has happend! I'm now proud owner of a five keyed R&R made by Tom Aebi.
Just got it this week. I've played it for two days and finally recorded this little clip just to hear how it sounds. What do you think?
I'm curious how it sounds after a few month when I've got used to it.

(The slow air is called 'An Charraig Aonair', I've learned it from my teacher. The jig is 'Winnie Hayes''. We use to play this one at our local session.)

Great stuff! Never heard that slow air before. You get a nice tone out of that Aebi flute for sure. How long did you wait before you got it?

Thank you Abraxas!
I've learned it from my teacher who is from Ireland and unfortunately I don't know any other sources for it.
I've had to wait nine days to get the flute! It's a pre-owned instrument. The package has arrived last wednesday and I haven't done anything else than playing it for a whole week now :D
