The Seagull Nebula

It's dizzying, the possibilities. Ashes, Ashes all fall down.

Re: The Seagull Nebula
Gull, seagull? I don't know. They are known as Garbage Gulls in these parts.
I've proven who I am so many times, the magnetic strips worn thin.

Not a gull at all!
Using enhanced telescopy you can clearly see it's Anodorhynchus magentocephalus
Note the beak.

Re: The Seagull Nebula
Ya know she's weaving a bit of a tale, Uraeginthus are Estrildidae. Obviously it's the Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus although the colour rendering is off.trill wrote:wheee !Caroluna wrote:Not a gull at all!

Right you are, sorry about that!dwest wrote: Ya know she's weaving a bit of a tale, Uraeginthus are Estrildidae. Obviously it's the Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus although the colour rendering is off.
I've been hanging out at a finch forum lately and so the name that popped into my head was Uraeginthus cyanocephala
aka the bluecapped cordon bleu
Do you think the sky-macaw could be the rare subspecies Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus magentocephalus? The Magenta-Hyacith Macaw.
