Couldn't somebody have asked?

Post by libraryman »

Over the years of reading C & F, I've seen many people ask who bought this or that high end flute on ebay or at an auction and then someone post with a simple smile. Made me jealous. So when the boxwood Wilkes came up, I bought it, not so much for the flute, but because I wanted to post a smile and finally be cool and one of the gang. But nobody asked. What a disappointment. Just hope the flute arrives safe and sound and provides me with lots of consolation.

First Jem makes me feel like 2Ks better and then a Canadian does me a nice turn. I love Canada. Who am I? I'm the guy who has covered your country for the U.S. Congress for the last 32 years--hence, "Libraryman." Seriously. I even spent time as "Library of Parliament man" a few years back. But I'm retiring to relax and play. Did I mention I bought the Wilkes?

So where are the pics!!!
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')
