I want to publicly thank our newly appointed moderator, benhall.1. This is a job too often underappreciated and entirely underpaid. As in no pay.

Please join me in thanking and congratulating (if that's appropriate!) Moderator Ben.

Congratulations, and thanks for taking on the job. Ideally, we wouldn't need moderators, but it's not an ideal world. You guys do a great job.

Thank you, Ben. Alan has your new (well, not new, but newly bought from the Goodwill) striped shirt at the cleaner's. I'm assuming you already have a whistle.

See, that's how THOSE PEOPLE start stuff. We're celebrating benhall.1's sentence here all nice and innocent and then THOSE PEOPLE have to start quibbling over perspective.

Well, someone has to try to get this thread locked. I'm also attempting to be the first person benhall.1 admonishes.

Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

Thanks everyone. Good to know I have your support. And Denny's cynicism (it's his form of support, I think  )

I'll try and live up to your good wishes.

And thank you, Dale for a) having me and b) starting this splendid thread.

Ben, Dale tells me that the C&F interns will only be able to visit occasionally due to recent travel cutbacks with DaleForce One. Sorry about that, as I know that that was one of the convincing perks of the job.
