There's a point. See? You DO have the right. But it carries the weight of a fly's wing, doesn't it. How you react is on you.rama wrote:stop posting to this thread. do it now.Rob Sharer wrote:While we're having a civil discussion, here's a thought of mine:

FWIW, mods don't really issue orders. We have laid down the law and let people know it's up to them. For me there's a difference.

No, you were right. It's pronounced Squim or Skwim. I was referring to how most folks mispronounce it. Some of the Chinook Jargon up that way can really twist you up.Nanohedron wrote: Then they have to be wrong. I read it in Wikipedia, after all.

You go ahead. I am a simple man with simple needs: just your unmessed-with, basic, buck-naked, plain cake donuts for me, thanks. I was once driving home from a summer job and saw one of my co-workers whiz past me on I-95 doing probably 75 ( 120 kph). In a driving rain. On a motorcycle. With no helmet. I talked to someone else who saw him a few miles later who said his face was beet-red and swollen, but he hadn't slowed down.Denny wrote:I've ridden all winter.
San Joaquin valley and in western Washington.
The valley was much better,
the rain at freeway speed is not enjoyable.
I like bacon and doughnuts, but not one on top of the other.

lol i tried that once. it hurts! you have to consider the rain drops are hitting you at 75 mph... it feels like bbs from a bb gun or something. imagine being shot by a bb gun over and over... i pulled over.chas wrote:nd saw one of my co-workers whiz past me on I-95 doing probably 75 ( 120 kph).
