Here's a tune for ya:

On the first CD of the wonderful Woodenflute Obsession CDs, the last track has a lovely air played by John Skelton called "The Fire in the Hearth."

This tune haunted me and got stuck in my head, until it became necessary for me to transcribe it for the sake of my sanity.

Best wishes,

As I indicated on the wooden flute list, this tune was composed by Freeland Barbour, and should (at least) be credited.

Thanks,

I have edited the post to correct this; Kevin, thanks again for providing both the composer of this mighty tune, and the venue by which I became addicted to it.

Best wishes,
