About 1,5 years ago i took up the Low Whistle and really enjoy that as well.

Very interesing article, with some good pointers.
Traditional music should really get more attention - In all countries.
A lot of people i know, dont listen to traditional music, or give it any attention.
But when I make people listen to something, they really like it.
More attention to our music, is always a good thing.

Thank you for sharing, this was a great article. I see many investment ideas in the article that would certainly enhance Irish culture and communities though the music. However, It is my belief that the culture of traditional Irish music itself gets in the way of commercialization. The music is meant to be shared from generation to generation as a means to keep the tradition alive. The need for money always gets in the way of life's great wholesome gifts.
