Heard yesterday that flute player Pat Mahon from Easky, Co. Sligo, has passed away. I heard Pat play in Brennans, Tubbercurry, some years ago and I'd never heard someone playing the flute the way Pat did. He just stood there in the middle of the pub and played with such a strong tone. It was amazing to hear.
