Tell us something.: I have been looking for an irish jig for many years. My hope is that somebody hears knows the name of it. Thats the reason I am here.

Please help me find tune I'm looking for!

Hi everyone! This is my first post and the reason I'm posting this is because it's driving me mad that I can't find this tune I'm hearing in my head. It sounds quite similar to "Irish washerwoman" and I heard the tune combinated with "swallowtail jig" annd maybe a third one. It is quite happy sounding and energic if that's helping narrowing it down. Please give suggestions to the name of this unknown tune!

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Might you be referring to the B section of Banish Misfortune?

Since you think you've heard it with the swallowtail, perhaps the list of tune names and recordings on thesession.org might help? https://thesession.org/tunes/106/recordings
