Because it's Easter, and it's snowing outside my window:

Lovely, sunny afternoon here on Easter Sunday. No snow, but maybe tomorrow or Wednesday.

I'll call your harp, and raise you a low whistle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsVFN7VAf1g.

Séamus Ennis owned that one, didn't he?

Here is John Lyons singing it. Pauline Hanly made a lovely job of it as well

Here's a pretty shot taken by a local (quality's not so good, but I had to shrink it and some of the resolution got lost):

I think my neighborhood got around 3.5", but no more than 5"; some towns got as much as 10". My sidewalks have already cleared on their own due to residual warmth underneath, so I don't have to bother myself over that; everything else, though, is still blanketed in white. Looks like we won't be back to proper April temperatures until Friday or Saturday.

Easter Snow hasn't been part of my repertory, but I couldn't say why, because I like it a lot; now would be a good time to get it down.

Here's a Matt Molloy version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rp2UuTx2EUo . A bit heavy on the reverb, but nice all the same.
