There are about fifty bazillion versions of that song, sung to forty bazillion different tunes (okay, I'm exaggerating, but not much).

I would suggest you do a Google search for "The Jolly Beggarman" and see what turns up. Here's one for starters, this looks like it might be the Clancy Brothers version rather than the Planxty version:

That search turned up nearly 300 other entries...you can browse around til you find the version you like.
