I seem to be posting obit threads more than anything else these days.
Just saw the TG4 Nuacht and was shocked to see Méati Jo has died.
He was a singer flute player, piper, among other things. And a nice man. Above all he was known as an Irish language broadcaster. Many times he was around these parts, recording and visiting musicians for his RnaG programmes.
A great loss.
