BBC Program about Irish Field Recording with Ennis, Lomax

This is COOL. Don't know how long it'll be online, so you might want to listen sooner rather than later.

Deja Fu: The sense that somewhere, somehow, you've been kicked in the head exactly like this before.

It's dizzying, the possibilities. Ashes, Ashes all fall down.

Thank you! Anyone worked out how to capture audio from the BBC player?
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

It will be up for one week after transmission so you have until next Tuesday (15th May) to listen.

Low-tech: run a patch cord from the headphone jack on your computer either to a recording device or into your computer's line-in jack if you have recording software on your computer.

High-tech: If you have a Mac, get AudioHijack Pro. It's awesome (despite a kinda confusing interface) -- you can record and edit streaming audio from just about any source imaginable. There's probably something similar for Windows, but I don't know what.

SoundTap Streaming Audio Recorder is free and works fine with Windows.
