Alan Mount returns and writes, "I did as I threatened and made a D flute out of PVC on Sunday and got the idea of recording a tune on it along with my Feadog D Mk II whistle and a guitar. Here is Saddle The Pony. Hang on, it may be a bumpy ride!" Saved in jigs.

Am I being outed? Yes, maybe I do have a little ditty or something, and maybe I do have a new whistle. Doesn't everyone?

The last time I offered reasonable explanations to you, Loren, you told me no more lame excuses, or similar sentiment. Sniff. Ok, when I have a spare moment, I will dash to the computer and expel sonorous utterances. Then, when my abdomen feels better, I'll play a tune.

Hey man,
I'm, like, 5 days overdue for visiting my mom, who lives less than 10 minutes from me. I started an exercise program of bike riding after work, I have band practice one day during the week, and I'm taking a painting class one night a week. I give up sleep at night to get in some decent whistle practice and read a little science fiction before turning out the light. Plus I clean all the pots and pans after dinner. (Whine, whine.) OK?
