I thought the list would be interested to see some truly gorgeous craftsmanship! Yes! They do sound as good as they look, too!

Clever how he incorporated the bass bar tuning slide with the wraparound. Lovely!

Thanks to his outstanding photography we can really see his attention to detail...These are beautiful which just makes my anticipation that much greater. I ordered a 1/2 set from him a few months ago.

I decided that I had to have this set when I heard the drones. They are complex and lush sounding..which is the only way I can think of putting it into words. They are very inspiring to play on/over/with! At some point, I'll post a sound file!

The screw action pistons on the regulators are quite nice. Also is the knob on the tenor drone to aid in tuning. Also, the reed cover on the bass regulator is such to where you don't have to play a came of "Operation" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw-ZLTRuYuk) to adjust the reed past a certain point. (I've never understood why some makers want to have the reed tube located so far down another tube.) Very nice set!

beautiful set of pipes. I very much like the pins in the regulators. Beautifully made. Not much information on his website though! :)

I think like most high end makers, the best thing to do is call. The pics speak volumes, though!

The web site is under construction. Give it a little while longer...Michael has been busy with higher priorities...Making pipes.

No soundfiles for bit, as my 1.5yr old L&M bag now has multiple leaks in the stitching (if not the leather itself?). Talk about premature evacuation!???! :-?

I think it's all the antibiotics they feed the cows, plus the fact that they no longer spend enough time on pasture. The cows are just not airtight any more.

Yes indeed.. the Cows should spend more time in the rain.... however an 18 month old bag should not show any signs of leaks...

Nice pix !
