Post by Calum Stewart »

Hi folks,
Some pipes looking for a new home.

1) B and C chanter, in Palo Santos wood, shared reed-cap. By Richard Patkos. B fully keyed, C fully keyed except G sharp. Comes with custom made Uilleann reed case, from Kenkase, reeds for flat chanters, and 2 concert pitch reeds by Paddy O'Hare. Tuning is spot on, tone is warm and creamy. €1500 for chanters, reed case and free postage in Europe. Overseas postage also possible.

2) Drone set. Unique drone arrangement that I ordered to complete recent recordings for Hobbit Movie work. 3 drone switches operating 3 couples of drones. D, which can be tuned to E with beads, A which can be tuned to B with beads and G.
The idea being that all principal keys can be covered by drones (Dmajor/minor, Gmajor/minor, Aminor/major and Bminor. Just re-reeded and ready to go. €1600.
Comes with adapted hiscox sop sax hard case.

Just to check, in this case you mean fully keyed = four keys, not seven? So there is Fnat, G#, Bb and Cnat only? (and only three on the C chanter?)

Also, you didn't put a price on the drones.

C chanter has C natural, Bb, and long F (d chanter relative) keys. b chanter has c natural, Bb, G sharp and ring F natural.

Price for drones - €1600

Bonjour calum,

Hi PJ,
This is the same chanter, I just had Richard put the keys on, after he recorded
This video.
The key blocks can be seen in the video,
Sans keys :)
Hope that helps.

Bonjour Zaarch,
