I see all the parts for a 1/2 set, plus the extra chanter. That could be a nice restoration project for someone.

These are made by the seller. They look nice, though I haven’t heard of him before (which is no aspersion!)

If they are good, they are SCREAMING value for a half set in wood. A David Daye half set in delrin can be more than these depending on the GBP/USD rate.

I almost want to buy them to find out!

Hi, I've just registered on the forum in anticipation of some questions regarding the set I listed on ebay. Been lurking for a while though. Not sure this is the place on the forum for the exchange of information but feel free to message me with any questions or info. Cheers all.

Welcome Andy!

They’re lovely looking pipes! Sadly I’m not in the market for any sets right now, but I’m quite taken with them all the same- I like the “inverted” look with the dark mounts and boxwood pipes.

I hope they go to a good home!

Hello Andy, are you the same Andy Tennant who posted about pipemaking and reedmaking back in 2003? viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15628&view=next

Great looking pipes in any case. Do you have any sound/video samples?

Yes I am! That was a while ago (don't live in Texas anymore!).
The pipes listed sold after a couple of days and it was a real headache trying to get video or sound samples to anyone interested. Wouldn't have been a problem had ebay allowed the sharing of video or contact info. The buyer registered on here and we managed after that.
Not sure I will sell through ebay again looking at other options.
Send me an email if you still want some samples, I have another 2 sets on the go.
Cheers

Boxwood chanter in D - seller does not say who made it, but it has a tuning slide for the reed.
