Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

Great Northern...Irish Pipers' Club Tionól this weekend!

Post by tommykleen »

The Great Northern
Irish Pipers' Club is pleased to remind one and all about our upcoming tionól May 16/17 (that's this coming weekend!) in beautiful and historic St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. Our guest pipers will include Tom Creegan and Patrick D'Arcy (yes, it will be The Battle of The Dubs) plus a concert performances by Pat Cannady and Karen Cook Cannady plus sean nós/Cape Breton dancing from Danielle Enblom and Anna Lethert. Oh, and brave/courageous members of GNIPC will do a set of tunes at the concert just to prove to the locals that "uilleann pipes are spoken here".
