Maybe you're in the know on something... I would buy it wherever it's released, I just figured NPU has the resources to make it happen. It was a long time between the Robbie Hannan cd in the series & Caoimhin's. I've heard they are working on a T. Reck collection, but I had some higher hopes for the "Master Pipers" series. Not to put them down, they do great work, I'm just always looking forward to the new releases as it's probably my main source for learning.
The pandemic has kept releases that were due to launch two years ago on the shelf. Let's put it that way.

CDs will start coming again again I suppose, a degree of normality seems to be returning. Tommy Reck's centenary is coming up, things will happen.

Concerts are starting again too: I have my tickets for a series of concerts of younger musicians with older ones that inspired them, which was cut short two years ago when lockdowns set in. Paraic Keane and Sean McKiernan are on in a few weeks. Before things shut I saw Colm Broderick and Mick O Brien tackling mostly LOF's repertoire.
My brain hurts

I seem to remember a video I saw awhile back of Padraic Keane playing the Youghal from O'Farrell's on a stage. I can't seem to find the video anymore or remember where I had seen it. Can anybody help me out?

edit: I remembered, it was the piping highlights from the Willie Clancy school put up by ITMA. There's some great stuff in there!

I'm a smallpipe and Border pipe maker and we'll just see where that leads to.

Tell us something.: I want to be a part of Chiff and Fipple community, so I am registering now. I am here because I fond of music instruments, especially flute and others. Now I can play the piano and the guitar, and flute is the new instrument for me.

Seamus Ennis plays his nose, a couple airs, and recites a poem about Ned of the Hill at Willie Clancy Summer School 1978: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UHmoYy0qx4. An all-around good time. Any info on the poem/Gaelic would be awesome. Cheers.

Is this Cormac's Egan set? I thought I had heard it was a Cnat. I wish there were better recordings of it. Most of what I've come across of it are the live videos on NPU
Was it meant to be a left handed chanter?

One from me. One of my favourite jigs from the Goodman Collection, called Lady Hynes. Played on a ‘John’ Egan set (c. 1760) with a brilliant new chanter by Sam Lawrence.
