Eugene Lambe Regulators

Post by ausdag »

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can source some second hand Eugene Lambe concert regulators for my Lambe Drones?

Thanks,

I would second that suggestion. Patrick was in Nashville a few mos ago to record with the set he has for sale. It was going extremely well.

Thanks Glands and Reedman,

Whilst I would dearly love to buy Pat's full set, I am not in the financial position to do so. I do have a very nice half set consisting of Adrian Jeffries Chanter and Lambe Drones. All I need know is a regulator or two, or three, which would obviously be far cheaper for me than to outlay the moneys for a full set, three quarters of which I would not need.

Thanks for the reply,

But you could sell your existing set?

After the ten years I've had playing my Adrian Jeffries chanter and the comments I've received on the quality of its tone from local and international musicians, I will neeeeeveeer part company with this chanter. To lose it would be like losing a limb.

I don't necessarily need Lambe regulator per se; as long as the onesI do get fit his drone stock and are suited to a more full-bodied sounding instrument.

Cheers,

I'll recomend David Boisvert. His work is beautiful, short waiting period and a fair price. I think that he can make Regs to fit your dornes.

Buy Pats set, Keep your favourite chanter, sell the rest, you get what you want, and you'll get your money back on the half set,$2500-3000.
Deal done, you only get one bite of the apple.
