The new Chris Langan Weekend Website

Post by Paul Reid »

Halloooo!

The new Chris Langan Weekend website is now up and functional. A quick refresher for everyone -- the Chris Langan Weekend is held in Toronto in January (this year the on Jan. 16, 17 & 18 -- brrrrr!) and is a classic tionòl featuring classes for uilleann pipes, whistle, flute, Irish dance and -- way more!

http://www.chrislangan.ca

There are two nights of concerts featuring brilliant performers such as Harry Bradley (a candidate for the genius page?), Ivan Goff, Peter Browne, Patrick Ourceau, Debbie Quigley and of course -- way more!!

Most of the information can be found on " The Weekend" section. Still some details to be filled in, but we're 97% there. You can check out the pix in the photo gallery section as well for the past 3 years of archive images. Also be sure to see the bio on Chris Langan himself, he was truly an inspiration to many.

Cheers,

PR

The site is beautifully done! Very nice job.

And I'm very excited at the lineup for next January, very happy at Harry's return, and getting ready to make my B&B reservations.

Yes, definitely looking forward to seeing Harry again! Hopefully he brings his Kennedy set. thanks for the kind word Brad -- also looking forward to hearing your flute playing again!

Cheers,

PR

BTW, If someone is in desperate need of a place to crash, I can take in one person or a couple. I live a fair hike from the city, but on the weekend I'll be downtown most of the time anyway.

Paul,

I'm looking forward to getting back over there. I won't be bringing the JK B set this time. On the plus side Joe will (hopefully) have a D half set and possibly some C sharp material ready for me at that time! Christmas is coming late for me this (next) year.

Regards,

Harry.
