Just a brief announcement to mark your diaries for the first tionol in West Wales.

Gŵyr Uilleann Glanyfferi (Ferryside Uilleann Pipes Festival) will be held in the historic seaside village of Ferryside in beautiful West Wales from 12th-14th May 2023.

Join us for a weekend of traditional Irish and Welsh music performance, teaching and sessions. Our guests include Néillidh Mulligan and Jarlath Henderson (uilleann pipes), Ceri Rhys Matthews (Welsh repertoire), Julie Murphy (songs) and Tadhg Mulligan (Irish fiddle).

Hosted by Pibyddion Uilleann Cymru with the support of Na Píobairí Uilleann and Consulate General of Ireland, Cardiff.

More good news!

We are pleased to announce that the brilliant piper and flute player Claire Fennell from Co Waterford will also be joining us for the festival. Claire will be performing in our opening concert as well as teaching an introduction to tin whistle class for local children.

Our other festival teachers and performers include Néillidh Mulligan and Jarlath Henderson (uilleann pipes), Ceri Rhys Matthews (local Welsh repertoire), Julie Murphy (songs) and Tadhg Mulligan (Irish fiddle).

Full Registration (from 1 May)
Adult full registration (from 1 May) - £79
Under 18 full registration - £49

Registration includes access to all events and classes. Lunch Saturday and light lunch Sunday. Teas & Coffees.
