Eugene Lambe bag
Hello, I'm trying to fix a small leak in my Eugene Lambe uilleann bag. Not sure what would be best to use as the bag is either vinyl or rubber. Not heard back from Eugene yet so anyone know or have a similar bag from the 80's and what he was using then ? Cheers

He was using both vinyl type materials, naughahyde, as well as rubber. I had a set of his during the early eighties that had a large, heavy bag made out of the type of rubber used to line watertanks or similar. That's how I remember how he described it at the time anyway.

If its a rubber bag then "Shoe Goo" can repair it. I have a rubber Ginsberg bag that came apart at the seam a little bit. The Shoe Goo and a clamp fixed it right up. Been good for years now.

If it's a synthetic bag, a little water poured in should find your leak without hurting the bag.
