Re: Derrick Gleeson’s work
There have been at least three videos in NPU's series Piping From The Parlour featuring his pipes. It might be possible that you need a facebook account to view them, but I would say it's almost worth the price of admission for the series. Some great piping, including at least a couple people who post here regularly.
Also, there are some very nice photos here:

click the green button 'accepter et continuer' and you can view the forum.
Lastly, his sound cloud page:

Jordon,
Beautiful workmanship in the pics from the French forum, thanks for finding that. I wonder what his prices & waitlist is like?

- Tell us something.: Pipes have become my main instrument, but I still play the flute. I have emerged from the "instrument acquisition" phase, and am now down to one full set of pipes (Gordon Galloway), and one flute (Hudson Siccama).

Re: Derrick Gleeson’s work
Derrick refurbished a Wooff NBD set for me. Great work, great communication, fairly priced, and as others have noted, a gentleman who was a pleasure to deal with.

Re: Derrick Gleeson’s work
I just received my C# fully keyed chanter from Derrick. I am actually the second owner, but he'd taken it in from the original owner and remembered I'd contacted him some time ago about a obtaining a C#. That's the kind of top class individual he is. It was a unique type of transaction so there were a lot of emails back & forth, which I'm sure could be at least cumbersome if not annoying but he could not possibly have been more patient, accommodating and helpful.
The chanter is absolutely beautiful with Irish holly mounts and German silver metalwork. The keywork is elegant and flawless. Chanter plays in tune with itself with an effortless second octave. The sound is exactly what I'd hoped for-sweet but with just the right amount of "pop'".
I am going through a bit of Flat Set Adjustment, but that's on me -overblowing mainly- not the chanter.
Though I play my Rogge D at sessions (affectionately named the "Earschplittenloudenboomer")..... the Gleeson will be my daily bread.

Welcome to the path to enlightenment.
Do go easy on the read, can be really easy to crank the pressure on if D is the usual stick.
C# is a great key.

Ha! That's good! I named my Froment "Das Sound Machine" and even had that embroidered on the bag cover.Though I play my Rogge D at sessions (affectionately named the "Earschplittenloudenboomer").....
