Uilleann piper with child print

Post by luukzs »

found this beautiful old Uilleann print in a historical Irish house, maybe everyone knows it already, maybe not :)

If anyone is interested, I can edit the poster so it's high res, cutout and color proofed for large printing!

I am afraid it's probably the most well known image of a piper.

The piper is Patrick O'Brien from Labasheeda, Co Clare. Haverty painted three versions of the same image and it has been reproduced perhaps more often than any other image of a piper.
