Accommodation and food will be arranged for anyone travelling from afar (provided the numbers are not too many, then it'll be on a first-come-first-served basis)

I'll be there for May 6th, and I'll see if I can drag along a recalcitrant pipemaker with me, weather permitting. The last time I was in Quebec City was 9/11. I'm afraid I'll have to give this trip a miss.

I think a trip to QC would be great. Definitely a place I don't get to often enough. However, the weekend between OPC and Langan is the 12-13 which is Mother's Day. May not work out

Might suggest a date in June?

As I've already launched the invitation for the weekend of 12/13th May and gotten some interest, I'll probably go ahead with that date.

I'll be in Ireland for the first part of June but late June could work out. No reason why we can't do 2 dates.

Alternatively, there is a Celtic festival scheduled for Quebec City on the labour day weekend (first Monday of September). We could kill two birds with one stone.

Perhaps you should augment your NPU announcement with the city name, and possibly the province (unless you're in Nunavut and we just don't know it yet

FYI, the proposed weekend (May 12/13) for the Quebec city meeting conflicts with a number of events and prior commitments of club members. We're arranging an alternative date in June and I'll post details.

Our friends in Ontario are very welcome to attend.
