That's no session... it's a gig. The Oliver St. John Gogherty pub in Temple Bar http://www.olivergogartys.com/

The piper is Dan Sullivan. I met him in the Cobblestone the last time I was home.

Gob Less,

Pat.

Thats a young Finbarr Fury. The notes say "This excerpt is found on the 1994 VHS video release of "Come West Along the Road."

Does anybody have this video? Is Finbarr shown playing on it?
Maybe that will be posted on Youtube.

Yes, its from the RTÉ video (not the DVD) Come West Along the Road. Yes, Finbar is shown playing the pipes, accompanying his Dad playing fiddle.

I think the “Kilrush 1963” segment was also taken from the “Come West along the Road” VHS. The piper looks like Michael Falsey.

And a slightly older Tony McMahon. I'm not exactly sure what the tunes are but they seem to be a set dance. Does someone know?

The great Kilrush session of 1963. There are at least two young pipers and probably many more around the back, but we can't see them. Many more musicians are tucked away in the back room. Anybody know who the pipers could be?

Thanks for the above chanterdan however

I'd really like to keep this thread exclusive to uilleann piping clips so its a resource for uilleann pipers.
