Re: Portable Piper's Chair
Patrick,
I have been researching this as I, too, have been carrying around a folding chair. There are numerous tripod stools but they are less than comfortable for me. I found this:
http://www.byerofmaine.com/products/cam ... stool.html
I am 6' tall. I tried the "Large" version at an REI store. It was almost tall enough. I ordered the XL version. It's not extremely stable, but it's the best lightweight solution that I've found. I'll let you know if the lack of stability proves problematic.

Bloody hell! That looks dangerous! Stability might be impacted directly by the level of margarita in your bloodstream.

In that top photo, that thing looks like it's about to command me, in an robotic voice, "take me to your leader!"
But seriously, rather than hauling a chair around, one could put a pad on one end of a sturdy case (like an Anvil case) and never be without a place to sit.

That is BY FAR...the smallest piper I've ever seen. Although, I believe Seamus Ennis thought Paddy Moloney was........?

It could well be the piper that taught Ennis the tune the Gold Ring.Brazenkane wrote:That is BY FAR...the smallest piper I've ever seen. Although, I believe Seamus Ennis thought Paddy Moloney was........?
