For me, my favourite place to play the pipes is in Cornwall/Somerset. This is because of the many happy times I have shared with fellow SWAUP pipers in those fine counties. Just having a tune and a drink with my mates is the best craic of all :)

Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

You can burn my house down if you want ,as long as Dublin beat Kerry.

I,d also like to play in a large cathedral or church, I was down in cork recently and we went into a local church which was quite big, myself and the kids were the only people in there and when they were talking you could actually feel the vibrations in the air.

But seeing the ship is at the bottom of the sea that,s not going to happen ,so I,d settle for playing in Croke park at the half-time of the All Ireland final ( Dublin trash Kerry of course !!)

No chance, Rory. Kerry will tear you to apart...And then Tomás Ó Sé will run off with Kate Winslet.

When I was living in London ,I used to do alot of my drinking around Bethnal Green. Most of the pub there would have strippers in the evening, I,d be too busy playing pool to pay much attention to the strippers ,but I did notice they would all have some dressing gimmick, like dressed as a cowboy or a french maid or something. But I always thought seeing there was so many Irish there ,that a stripper dressed in Irish dancing gear, you know the colourful celtic dress and curly wig, would go down a storm!!!
Well what better when she was doing her routine to have a piper play beside her on the stage, thats the gig I,d like !!!
