Thats John S Wayland. He never married so who knows who the kids are. Probably members of the cork pipers club that John helped to establish in 1898.

Also, is that the Bb Willie Rowsome set that Brad Angus restored a year or so ago? Waylands personal set was a Harrington set.

Yes, there's one on Ebay right now, as well as one from apparently the same photo shoot, of the girls without the piper.
Search "uilleann", but watch your step for those Pakistani made landmines.
