Uilleann & other?
I was wondering how many Uilleann pipers play other instruments in addition to the Uilleann bagpipe. If you wouldn't mind voting and then if you do play another instrument as well, perhaps you could tell us which one(s).
All the best,
CJ

It is not so much a problem of getting around as much as it is a problem of where to put them all when I come back home.BigDavy wrote:My God JES you must need a ten ton truck to go to a session with this lotJoseph E. Smith wrote:Fiddle

In addition to "playing" the UP's, I play a few other like guitar and piano. I've also been taking delta blues style fingerpicking guitar lessons for the past year. I have played guitar for years and have always avoided learning a particular style, so thought it was about time I worked on one.
I have also recorded and performed music for years that has nothing to do with ITM. We'll, it does drone a bit so it's not entirely removed. Please feel free to enjoy some of my experimental music at:

- Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.
