I just did a quick conversion via a currency exchange. It's only about AU$600 more than a Mackenzie chanter would be without bag and bellows. I would think that with the Australian doller as strong as it is at the moment and not a very long waiting list for a Mackenzie bag and bellows.

It'd be just as economical to buy the chanter and get the bellows and bag made seperatly. I'll have a talk to my friend tonight and see what he thinks. Could you possibly pm me a sound sample and chanter bag connection measurments.

For some reason, whenever I try toplay the file, I get a message telling me there is no file to play................... I say, how odd. :-?

Just did, the message reads "this currenty playlist has no valid playlist, make sure file isn't corrupt"...... I don't know why, but it struck me as humorous....a corruted pipe chanter? NAWww! :lol:

Well, that chanter certainly 'speaks' for itself. (In the right hands, of course).

I'm quite sure that I could make it sound like a frog who's just been kicked in the family jewels. :D

That's pretty cool. I bet I could make it sound like the 'jewels', after they've been kicked. :lol:

Patrick, there aren't enough eee's in the word "Sa'weeeeeeet" to describe the tone of that chanter. Congratulations to you and especially the highest bidder! :)
