Tune from enya...anybody knows the title?
Hi guys,
Another tune question . Been listening to it for a while, I believe it's a B chanter? Perhaps anybody knows the tune by name (would love to eventually play it)

Kind regards

It's Liam O'Flynn on his Rowsome concert pitch chanter.DjUntzUntz wrote: I believe it's a B chanter?

I play "The Sun in the Stream" and it is indeed played on a D chanter.
A beautiful melody with some nice F nats and a Ghost G in it.
Always a popular tune to play for folks.
Cheers! Richard

Ghost Gs eh? I want one of those

Well I, for one, find it a dull and uninspiring piece of nothing-in-particular, especially compared to the riches of the slow air tradition. Pointless.

Works great in elevators though.
I immediately thought of Joe Heaney when I wrote that. He worked in elevators too, but differently. Never mind.

Just hope there's no piped music there then.
